Press & Media Kit

An expert source on on-prem AI, data control, and agentic systems — for reporters covering firms, clinics, and offices weighing whether their clients' data belongs on a public cloud model.

Who we are

Inside Intelligence

We build and run The Operator, a private on-prem AI appliance for licensed and duty-of-care offices — law, medical, financial, and licensed trade. The product keeps a firm's documents and work product on their own hardware, behind their own firewall: nothing leaves the building.

We are practitioner-builders, not an AI consultancy. We run the system ourselves on our own infrastructure, agent-first, and we document the real operational details on our public engineering blog — not just the marketing story.

The founder

Will Hess

Founder of Inside Intelligence. Will brings a 30-year career in IT support, operations, and engineering, and 15 years in cybersecurity — including NOC and SOC analyst work for managed service providers, WAF engineering, endpoint security, OT remote-access, and SSL/VPN administration for global industrial companies. Today he engineers large e-commerce platform integrations and runs The Operator on production infrastructure with autonomous agents doing the work.

Why quote him

Speaks from operational reality, not product slides. Built and ran the exact systems his product replaces — so he can talk concretely about what can and does go wrong when client data and AI meet, and how to make it safe.

Perspective

"ChatGPT tells you what to do. The Operator does it." A direct, quotable point of view on where generative AI fits — and doesn't fit — in a regulated professional office.
